You have to give more info than this.

Year, mileage, major maintenance done, how long have you owned it, pull the codes, what are they?

That is a start.

It could be anything engine fault relates to idle actuators throttle actuators etc use a decent diagnostics and read the dme faults this will help you pinpoint it use something like inpa ista etc

Yeah, as others are saying, we'll need the problem codes from the engine. There's any number of things that could put the car in that state, some serious and some super-simple.

If you don't already have a Bluetooth code reader, head to Amazon and buy one. Then use that and an app on your phone (if you have Android, use Torque) to read the codes.

Then tell us what the codes are that your car reports.

2008 Space Gray E60 M5 6MT

Performance
- Dinan lowering springs + sway bars
- AFE Magnum Intake (for the noise)
- Corsa Axleback
- F10 M5 shift knob
Cosmetic
- Blacked out logos and vents
- Ziza interior LEDs
- M-stripe gloss black front grille
