Do you know if it's possible to do bleed the vanos using inpa?

Mine sound identical to this 2006 M5 with 29000 miles. I've never use INPA however in ISTA there is a option for venting the VANOS I'm sure it's somewhere in the menus.

I was curious to hear the sound you were talking about. I've read about it, but never understood it until now.

Wow that's loud. But it seems that it's normal from what others have posted. I have an '08 with 103k and it's super quiet. That noise would make me crazy, especially if you just had work done to the system.

I've documented getting to the VANOS procedure in ISTA in my "tire tracks on my soul" thread.

I took three bleed procedures to quite my S85 down after VANOS valve replacement. One bleed cycle may not have cut it...

Mine used to be quiet aswell, but after the vanos repair it's been crazy loud. Funny thing is though that i made two longer trips last week and the car is actually a bit quieter now. I really do suspect there's still some air in the vanos somewhere. I'll probably let my indy bleed it at some point, if i can't find a way of doing it myself using INPA.
