Well having proper lighting is key. I would recommend not to use an extended screw driver to try and go at loosening those hoses around the plenum. Get you a 3/8 DR Ratchet with a 10 inch extension and a number 10 socket, and it's a piece of cake removing those bad boys. If you are using a power drill instead of a ratchet, apply very little torque because you "CAN" strip the heads of those screws.
Also, to gey the little hoses off behind the plenum and at the front under them, I found it to be easiest removing these after I loosened all the throttle body hoses. There is one hose in the back, two hoses on the side towards the back, and one under the front of each plenum.
Last thing, the big hose on the side of the plenum comes off easiest with a good Ole pair off vice grips. To get the one off right behind the big one, you will need a short phillips head. Pictures below of the tools. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!
