I successfully repaired my throttle actuators by replacing some parts inside. I know this isn't for everyone, but if you have the skills, below is what you need. In my case, I was getting throttle and DSC errors when the car was warm. I used to get this a few times a week, after the repair I'm now a month in with no issues.

Parts you need per actuator:
(5) IRLR2905ZTRLPBF (MOSFETS)
(1) PCA82C250T/YM,115 (CAN Transceiver)
(1) 24LC02B-E/SN (EEPROM)
(1) NCV4275CDT50RKG (5V Regulator, Large)
(1) TLE42662GHTMA2 (5V Regulator, Small)

Can somebody please confirm whether the throttle actuator self check performed when the ignition is first switched on should make the throttles just 'twitch' once or complete a full open then close sweep?

The only codes i'm getting are the 'pre-drive check' on both banks (2B21 and 2B22) and they never occur at the same time. When the actuators are working fine the only sign of an initialization test is a single 'twitch' when the ignition is turned on - is that normal?

Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure I remember it doing just a twitch when powered on. You can also use the throttle pedal to move them once the car is on even if it's not running.

Thanks, i wanted to know what a normal self test looks like in the hope of finding out why the 'pre-drive' check intermittently fails, but I guess in this respect mine are working as expected. If they did a full open/close sweep I could understand how more data could be collected about motor current, open and close times, etc but I fail to see what it is able to deduce during just a 'twitch' of the actuators

Just did mine along with replacing coils and spark plugs Seems fine when I opened it or it could be the Mofs on circuit board.
