Time to get into something more practical, new, and cheaper to fix and mod. Thanks for the help. Will be glad to get back to a normal manual gear box. I do have my Son's BMW 1992 E30 convert if I want to get the BMW feeling again. These newer BMWs just are not like the old ones.
Are you the original owner?

Hope you enjoy the new ride.

Wish I could convince myself to buy I mustang, but I can't. The concept of getting a new car that is trying to look like a old car is not my cup of tea.

I could not convince myself to buy a Mustang when I was looking for a DD, instead I went for an Audi, better interior and build quality.

Nice bro congrats! I like the new stang body style. Let's see some pics. I heard those coyote motors respond well to boost.

A car is a car......when you spend over 10 grand on maintenance on a used car and then it requires another 10 grand or so and the car is worth 18 grand in addition to what you paid for it, you have to dump it. Sounds like an elite comment from someone who got their first BMW cheap. May my issues not happen to you. But, as a BMW owner since the early 90's and just restored 2 E30s, teaching my Son not to have that attitude, now he understands from this post what I was talking about. Just done with used cars for now and the logical decision was to dump the car.

New V8 Mustang, rear IRS, more torque, cheaper mods, same black evil color, 3 years bumper to bumper warranty, heated and AC leather seats, better non old gen BMW interface....newer gadgets without hacking a 10 year old car worth 18K trade in that was on its last leg at 85K decision for me. To each is own but hate the people who think they are special who buy a car and think they are the best on the block. After owning everything from Porsche, to BMW, Audi, Alfa and now restoring a Maserati Zagato...I think a Mustang is just a fine car. My winter driver is a old Ford powered AWD Jaguar X-Type and my wife drives a Jeep.

I had the old muscle car calling come back and owned several of them. But yes, a Ford is a Ford and an BMW is a BMW...different cars for different people. Glad your roundel makes you feel special.

No hard feelings, just no reason to waste money on a 10 year old car you spent more money on maintenance then what the car is worth. Happy with the new Mustang, still almost restoring my Son's E30 325 convert, second one we restored and the Zagato spyder will be flipped soon. I can tell you this new Stang......the nice torque, 6 speed...I forgot the M5 and the low torque, even though it is just an American car.

Will be back to BMW again, just never in a used M....sticking with old stuff now with no VANOS or SMG.
