No not a finger slip. If that was the case then i wouldn't have said over 30,000 $ in repairs. I am itching to post my repair invoice here but i will not. I dont want any lawsuits coming after me from the dealership.

My coworker and i were discussing the bad financial decisions and the car repair topic came up. He could not believe my stupidity either. So i am posting the invoices :

I think we've discussed this countless times - dealer "repair" workflow consists of throwing parts at problems, because virtually all cars they see are leases with corporate warranty and said warranty pays for all labor and parts with 40% markup.

That first invoice alone is about $5K in pure parts profit for whoever owns that bmw store. You literally put someone's kid through college...

Lesson:
Expensive MSRP cars are gonna be expensive to drive.
Even though a used one is relatively cheap now - they are gonna be expensive to drive.

Y'all better have deep pockets and/or be prepared to work on them, spend money on them, love them....and drive them...

They are awesome cars - glad I had one, glad I don't.
