I don't think Zurich covers BMW M cars anymore.

Refer to the "All things warranty" sticky thread for info on other warranties if you haven't done so already.

Anybody on here have USAA extended warranty for there E60 or E63 and had there SMG pump covered by them?
Looking at USAA right now. Any worries about the RPI scoops forcing an exclusion?

Just got a Fidelity Quote from Crown BMW in Greensboro, NC

Platinum Coverage (exclusionary)- $6419 for 6 years, 72K miles, $250 deductible
Gold Plus coverage- $5393 for 6 years, 72K miles, $250 deductible
He said that the SMG pump would be covered under either. You never know.

other's I've gotten in the past 30 days,.
Zurich-5 years (the max they will go) up to 100K miles- $5924 with a $0 deductible. $100 deductible was $5499
Costco-6 years/additional 72K miles $6245 with $500 deductible, $7993 with $250 deductible
Costcto-6 years/additional 60K miles $4994 with $500 deductibe, $6326 with $250 deductible

The rates on both companies sky rocket at 35K miles, I'm now at 34,300 (tick tock)

Hi everyone -

I just bought a 2008 E60M5 and I'm pretty stoked about it. After lurking on this board for a few weeks I think I'd like to get a warranty. Here's the kicker -- I am a US dude living in Germany. Anyone know of a warranty that works in Germany? I'll be there for about 2 more years, then back to the states.

Thanks,
Slander

Finally ended up getting a 6 year, 75K mile warranty through Fidelity on my 2010 M5 with 34,750 miles. I"m usually not a warranty person, and I realize that the house usually has the odds or they wouldn't take it. It sure is nice not to care as much about any issues that might arise between now and 2019. My clutch was replaced at 30K miles.

$6118, no tax. $600 down $300 per month for 18 months (interest free). I was really hating this price until I saw the price of a new M6 :-). 128K. $6K seemed like chump change after seeing that. lol.
