This is fabulous. Thanks Pete for compiling! Sadly, I have already done several DIY project via the brute force method.
Will be checking here first before any new ones come up. Cheers!

This is great and I appreciate all the time it takes to compile all of this. One item I would call out though out of respect of Mike Miller who does a fabulous job for BMWCCA/Roundel is for us to respect his work. He asks members to e-mail him for the "Old School BMW Maintenance Schedule", which he does in a very timely manner; on the first page he states:

"Please do not post on the Internet. Two reasons: 1) This document is copyrighted. 2) It gets updated periodically."

I understand this is a link to another thread, but think the moderators should pull that as well. Don't get me wrong I think the information is great, but as an engineer I hate intellectual theft specifically when it's called out; thatís why I donít drive a Lexus!

Cheers

Killer - good point. I'll remove that link and include just a summary of his recommendations and his contact info if people want the whole writeup.

Have some other changes to make too but I'm past the 24hr edit period. Working with the mods to figure out how to keep it updated.

Master DIY updated:
- Removed Old School maintenance schedule link (it is still on the forum but you have to get it yourself)....but added a summary of it.
- Alignment specs
- Fuse diagram (E63, but likely similar for E60)
- SMG plate replacement
- Other resources section, including owners manual

Anything else worth adding?
