Another idea -- hire some local "day labor" to carry signs in front of the dealership. On the sidewalk / public property, so dealership cannot claim tresspass. Low cost / high impact (who wants to cross a virtual picket-line to purchase a high-end vehicle?).

Not a bad idea. Of course if you named them 3 weeks ago it would be on Jalopnik, and national news.

I only found out you named them because I hadn't been here for a while and began to wonder what happened. Most will have forgotten completely.

Team up with the other BMW dealership in town. I am sure they would be willing to assist in any type of advertisement on how their service dept doesn't total cars.

Unbelievable this dealer still hasn't solved this problem and are willing to risk their name... It's so simple, dealer totals their clients car, client gets an exect replacement.

The dealer told me from day 1 that they get sued all the time so I guess they view my lawsuit as not being any different but they are wrong. This lawsuit will be different. They could care less about their name or any customer for that matter, they are just worried about their bottom line which is money. $2500 deductible to their insurance is all they were ever willing to give for destroying a customers perfect one owner car. A low ball offer from their insurance company cannot replace it.

I have now been 6 weeks without my M and even though I know it is just a car, I miss it terribly! I really enjoyed that car.

TJ,

in this case, if they get sued all the time, hit them where it hurts, their wallet. Make it so that they can never recover.

I'm sure the M5Board members, by word through the internet, is already making their wallet hurt by decreasing sales/service visits.

You should also file a complaint with BBB not that they really do much. But then also with other review sites, yelp, google reviews, etc.

I just posted up a very negative review of their dealership on google and I suggest everyone on here does the same. I see that many people have already and some of them sound like actual customers in the area. How sad.
