LOL Well it won't be the wife keeping me home. But I woke this morning with my back yelling at me. Those hard wood benches did a number on me.

Tommy was testifying yesterday and easily holding his own against the defense. Sorry I'll miss Trent Cole testifying today. He owns Lone Star Bavarian and his wife happens to be an attorney.

Of course Tommy is in the right. The fight will be convincing people that are not enthusiasts that the M5 is more than just "a car." They didn't take away his transportation; they took away his dream.

His lawyer made a good start on this yesterday. They deserve to prevail.

Please excuse my ignorance in this matter, but how is Trent Cole and his company Lone Star Bavarian involved in this case?
Is he testifying as an expert witness?

Yes, beyond LSB he is also tech advisor for the local BMWCCA chapter. He provided one of the repair estimates Tommy is using. He is very personable and knows BMWs and the market inside out.

No, I'm bunked up on the couch. I did some stupid things to my back over the last week and the courtroom benches were the last straw. Sorry i won't be giving blow by blow comments but I need this better before returning to work tomorrow.

I'll tell you though, Tommy is in very good hands. That woman is tough as nails and isn't giving an inch. And even discarding my obvious bias, ABs lawyer wears the "fat-cat" mantle well. It's obvious who the little guy is here. There are other observations that I'm keeping to myself but trust Tommy should prevail.

/\

yeah, with the US economy in decline, and all the Occupy Wall Street Movements, I hope Tommy doesn't suffer from prejudice or bias on the jury's part seeing him as "oh he has a M5 - wish I had a M5, F this guy, he can afford another"

They made a strong point right off the bat how Tommy earned the money to buy his dream car. He saved every penny while serving three tours of duty in a war zone. The first two were as a Harrier pilot and the last was on the ground as forward air traffic control. These are the guys that basically say, "Shoot here where I'm standing."

He earned every cent.

Autobahn is going to feel the aftermath of this trail for a very long time. If this is how they treat our war veterans imagine how they treat and what they get away with the general public in that service center. Shame on them. They do not deserve to represent the BMW brand!
