Only if it gets sufficiently publicized.

OP - have you gone to the press with this?

They won't touch it. The Autobahn Imports group are major advertisers in the local media outlets.

Since the media is on their payroll then you must utilize the internet to your advantage! You may want to consider writing a web page or a blog describing this entire mess with lots of pictures for people to see the damage all in a single page. Secure a domain name that says it all like"AUTOBAHNBMWwreckedmyM5"dot com Go Daddy sells for $5.99. Once you've done this we can all promote your site and increase popularity.

Although our M5 Board and this thread is awesome the information is spread out and fragmented and difficult to find. You need to consolidate all the information and reiterate in peoples minds what has transpired and the damage sustained to your M5 by this dealer, and also add the specifics about the dealers' attitude and feeble excuses.

Your web site or blog could be written in such a way that it would come up on a Google search right next to autobahn. At this point you need maximum exposure, but I would first check with your attorney in order to avoid any legal complications with autobahn.

I have brought this to the attention of both local consumer advocate and auto reporters. The best I received was a blatant disregard for the facts and assurances that the owner and his son, mentioned by first name only, were stand-up guys and wouldn't allow such a thing to happen. Basically saying it never happened and I was confused and deluded for believing it.
