I am still driving the ole 2009 5-speed Toyota Corolla. That is going to be as fun as it gets for me. Fun money is going to my lawyer.

Thank you for staying interested and your concern,
Tommy

No updates other than the car is now back in my possession. It will remain in my garage until the lawsuit is settled. No change in the court date yet.

Unfortunately that's the court system... it could very easily and most likely be 1+ years before your case makes it to the end. It defiantly doesn't help in your case when the other party and they're lawyers play games, swear by lies, and take all the approaches available to them to delay and delay. The amount spent in legal fees is defiantly going to piss you off.. but that seems to be the cost for doing the right thing. I hope your attorney fees get reimbursed to you by that dealer who wrecked your car.

Best of luck.. I hope everyone gets what they deserve in the end.. and for your sake I hope you reach a fair settlement that makes you whole again. I couldn't imagine being without the M for so long, let alone stuck in what your driving now as a result ... unreal.

They should award him a GT3 on the side just to make up for being stuck in the econobox...

The M5 is my dad's - but I drive it more than he does!

Sold Sept '16. It was an amazing 7 years.

Oh wow. This is my first post, I have been lurking for a few months now while searching for an M5. I spent all day reading this entire saga from start to finish. All 1,505 posts. I have a terrible sinking feeling in my stomach while reading this, and kept getting closer and closer to the end hoping for a happy ending. I feel awful for you Tommy, keep your head up. I know you will

OP- read from the beginning to this point this evening. Incredible story that absolutely will resolve in justice being served.

As many have said, simply amazing how the dealership didn't do the right thing up-front and resolve the issue. With that fully behind you now, know that this will go down as one of the epic business cases that will be taught in b-schools for years to come related to customer satisfaction in the internet age and "what not to do."

The best part- you get to help write the appropriate ending.

Thanks for continuing to keep us posted and best of luck!

Wow, I just read through this entire forum...(well read most and skimmed a bit) and I just wanted to say that I'm glad that you've stuck through this and are fighting back. Best of luck to you. Hope that crooked dealership gets what's coming to them.
