Dear autobaun, email me an offer for your new damage control/pr firm, I will do a better job and contain the damage rather than add to it like the current people you have hired for peanuts.......

@Jmordecai,

I think I may have been too hasty. I see that you are a new member (just joined last month). So welcome aboard. I hope those years of lurking (although you can recall how many they are - zero perhaps?) were informative.

It's great to hear that your daily driver and classic BMW are both M cars. We encourage new members to post photos of their cars in the appropriate sticky thread for the type of M car (E-39, E-60, E63/64). As a reader of the Board for you can't recall how many years, you are probably familiar with these welcome aboard and show off your ride threads. I'm sure you know these sticky threads are at the top of the thread listings for a given forum. Feel free to blur/blank out your license plates if you like, that is not uncommonly done.

Also, feel free to update your signature line with current and previously owned BMWs and other performance cars of interest.

We are a friendly group here and often engage in humor as well as trading information and opinions on our favorite subject (M cars). We also politely call each other out if we think there is B.S. going on as few of us here are stupid or particularly gullible. So please engage with the rest of us and we will all learn to respect one another based on honesty and shared interests.

Welcome aboard who ever you are!

@Jmordecai,

If you are in the"legal field" than I'm sure that you understand that in litigation the demands of one counterparty are always going be frustrating and unrealistic to the other if there weren't then the case would have been resolved through simple arbitration...

If the dealership driver had been driving carefully and performing his job (to evaluated the vehicles operation post service) and without his fault an accident occurred then I think you could say that was unfortunate and allow the insurance company to follow through. But in this case the driver was reckless and even though a company can't control a rouge employees actions they are responsible for them, so if simple arbitration doesn't resolve the issue its up to the courts to decide and Tommy is fully in his right to express that the car had a lot more meaning to him than straight financial value.

if you look at Tommys posts he really has really said very little.

The funny thing is the more this Autobahn dealership and its minions try to give us the "other side of the story" here, the deeper the hole they dig themselves into.... from the selective posting of the settlement documents while purposely omitting the ridiculous settlement terms to the useless dribble this Jmodercai person decided to subject us to when he chose to chime in.

I'm not in a position on this site where I have to give Jmordecai the benefit of the doubt and I do have the balls to say what needs to be said here. His BS is nothing more than a tie to Autobahn and that's obvious. Sure, he may have been "lurking" here for a while but it's very possible he was "chosen" by AB to push their BS.

There's one thing Jmordecai did not consider while slamming Tommy that most attorneys would NOT understand and that's something called "core values". We in the military are not only held to a higher standard, we live it every day. There's a reason this country is jacked-up; because 67 out of 100 of our senators are attorneys. Attorneys are good at what they do because they are typically conniving and devious. Jmordecai himself displays the typical lack of "core values" that most attorneys know nothing about and never live.

When you Jmordecai blatantly call a military member out like you have, you disrespect all of us who have served or are serving our country. Based on your post you are a person who is disgusting and a big part of the reason our society is struggling as a whole right now. You happen to be in a profession that is of degraded opinion and which holds no respect whatsoever from the general public. Your post has done nothing but accentuate the stereotype of attorneys that most have of your profession. Your post has no value, no basis of fact and especially no respect of 99% of the great members we have here.

Tommy, don't take any of Jmordecai's post for any value whatsoever. It's nothing but a ploy and a lost means by the losing side to get us all off track in our teams pursuit of justice.

@USAF

I'm with you brother.

Notice how he wiggles around. He said "let's just say I'm in the the legal field" but did not say his is an attorney. Nor did he simply state, "I'm in the legal field". The "Let's just say" part sounds like a liars talk to me.

Notice how he states: "I can't even remember how many years I've lurked on this board" and then immediately contradicts that with his disdain for boards/forums by saying: "as a general rule, I have little interest in Internet message boards or any motivation to join one". So which is it?

More hedging: "I still have two BMW's, my primary transportation as well as a classic. Let's just say they're both ///M cars." He does not say which models/years they are and there is the bogus "Let's just say they're both /// M cars". Either they are M cars are they aren't. The is no "Let's just say" to it. "Let's"??? Makes it sound like he wants us to join into his lies.

And this kills me: "I'll save you the time of trying to identify me by being forthright (something the original OP has failed miserably at on more than a few occasions) and tell you my real name has no resemblence to jmordecai". If he was forthright, he would just state his name, profession, and affiliation (if any) with Autobahn.

OK, OK, I'm not going to pick apart any more of that mess.

I was sincere when I welcomed him as a new member. But I do ask for his honesty if he plans to frequent the Board.

Great points Mark! Most here will see right through his BS no doubt. His failed attempt will do nothing other than empower us even more to fight for Tommy through whatever means it takes to discredit AB. Thanks to him he has now brought new life to the fight.

I sort of took Autobahn's minions comments about the lack of email generated personally. So I created a list of all the listed email addresses for Autobahn BMW. Here it is.

To: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected],

I sent them this note. Please feel free to use the same list to generate some emails of your own. I would hate for anything that he said to be remotely correct.

"People of Autobahn BMW,

Recently one of your minions decided it was a good idea to say that the complete trashing of a customers car on a public street by an employee of the company was explainable and even applaudable when said customer was rebuked in his efforts to get a replacement vehicle of similar quality.

You can read about it all here.

Currently this thread has over 550,000 views with almost 1,400 postings.

Autobahn and its lawyers have attempted to do everything they can to escape blame or provide any compensation, however, I will let you all read about it. Even the Fort Worth paper had an article, but they never actually stated that Autobahn was the culprit (most likely they enjoy ad revenue). More recently, Autobahn had all the negative comments on Google Maps removed. If they are capable of this treatment of a customer imagine how they might treat you should you become ill or have the misfortune of upsetting one of your bosses. Have a wonderful day working for what some have referred to as the worst BMW dealership in the entire world. Should you have a different opinion feel free to post it on the link above. If you decide to email me back instead I will gladly post it for you so that the entire community can see your response.

Best Wishes,
Dave"
