Tommy, I hope your attorney(s) turn the defendants and their lawyers inside out and you get what you deserve and then some. They are all crooks. If I were an attorney, I wouldn't even defend these worthless human beings.

seemed like their offer wasn't entirely unreasonable if the donation was made in OP's name so he could claim the tax write off and 71k seems pretty fair but I guess that depends what legal fees are at this point.

For the life of me I cannot understand why they will not make this right. They are obviously at fault and are willing to write checks but not to the victim. If someone can explain this to me I would appreciate it.

That was a pretty decent settlement, but why do they want to give to charity??? Somehow make them look like the good guys in all of this??? Them wanting to do a settlement proves they were in the wrong. A court should eat this up now. I am still confused on the charity part unless they want to be able to write it off on taxes lol

Yes, the total sum of the offered settlement appears to be reasonable.
Unfortunately, they forced TJ to retain an attorney before making this offer.
Someone has to pay her.
