My guess is that they will "transfer" / "sell" the business to a new owner "relative" which will absolve them of any damages.

Tommy,

I assume you know, or will learn as part of discovery, the name of the actual driver.
If this person has been fired, he may make an excellent witness and to 'regular practice' and a general climate of abusing customers cars.

Like I said before take everything from them. This company does not need to be in business if they are destroying people personnel stuff then saying they are not responsible about it...I hope you win and destroy them is so much that the effect is felt through out the car industry that no other dealership whats to go through what you put them through....no dealership should do this regardless of how big they are or what they sell this is just wrong....

Tommy,

Thanks for posting this. Don't get too frustrated... this is just standard litigation tactics. You don't admit these things as any admission will not have to be proven. Although I find some of their statements insane.... in the end you will prevail.

It will certainly help to inform other potential customers of the incident and how the dealer responded.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to picket in front of the dealership with posters and pictures of the car either. Local enthusiasts in the area could make a showing on a Saturday just to make a point...

I was contacted by a member that the story had been forwarded to a local news agency, but I have not seen or heard any story as a result, nor do I know when it was sent to them. Regardless, what can we do that will really make a difference? I am pissed off about this just as much as the next guy, but I don't get the impression that anything we are doing really makes a difference. I believe that ultimately the OP will win this case, and that is the ultimate reward, but in the mean time, is anything other than negative reviews on google going to have an impact?

As I understand it -a quick read of it- it seems like they lack specified damages. They want a sum from you. Maybe you should provide the court with the exact values "lost" or damages made to each of the points mentioned in the case?

let loose the dogs of war, unleash hell,

this is likely typical litigation stuff. Hopefully you take it to court were the judge and jury will decide justice.

Freakin Tards... Just like everyone else said.. this is part of litigation, ain't no big deal. The attorneys might sort it out b/w themselves, once
auto bahn sees that they might not have a case enuff if it goes to trial... either way they're piece of crap.

09 M5 Interlagos Blue w/ Silver Stone interior.
Pretty much fully loaded besides the ventilated seats. All the options you can think of.
RPI Pulley, Scoops w/ blockoff plates, BMC filter, charcoal filter delete.
