I had this on mine turned out it was throttle actuators and leaking air at the intakes.

M6 E63 S85 V10

After replacing the internal Nicad batteries in the anti theft alarm and re soldering the battery wiring the M6 performed with no error codes for 3 months.
The car was not used for 6 weeks and the trickle charger was not hooked up.
Unfortunately the error codes returned.
The OBD2 reader was showing multiple and changing DTC error codes.
Mainly these were
277C DME: oxygen sensor,diagnosis , trim control bank 1
271A DME Vanos Control ,intake bank 1
271C DME Vanos Control ,intake bank 2
27B6 DME : Vanos oil pressure
A391 Telematic fault main telephone aerial

Putting the trickle charger back on and using the car has seen these codes disappear except for
2B59 Coolant thermostat
277C DME: oxygen sensor,diagnosis , trim control bank 1

Hopefully driving a some more Kms will get the O2 sensors working to lean out the fuel mixture so the engine can warm up quicker on these colder mornings.

Reduced Power + DSC + DBC + Start assistant FAILURE !

After 450 miles since I last reset the codes I got the same set of faults popping back up. I am going to drop it off at the dealership as I still have an extended warranty.

Well life got crazy so I have had no time to bring it in. Since my last update I had reset the codes and now itís been another 300 miles with no problems. (Just jinxed myself)

Iím sure itíll pop up again. But this leads me to my next thought....if it happens again and I reset the codes, the shop wonít be able to recreate the problem. I guess Iíll have to bring it in while Iím limp mode if it truly only ops up every few hundred miles.

WHEn you say limp mode what happens? Mine never goes into limp mode with my errors . It will just change my shift setting to go to a max of S5 instead of the S6 that I always leave it on

ahh you have the CIC nav...maybe that's why you get the slightly different/additional errors. Mine is an 08. I can deal with it though bc mine doesn't go into limp....just drops from s6 to S5....I can live with that.

Just scanned again for the heck of it and I gained a ďsteering angle sensorĒ error. Hoping this is all bc of a dirty Szl. Going to try and clean it this weekend so should find out shortly.
