Alright... I love my car but it's killing me. It's not my DD, but when it's running gets regular weekly work in. However for the last couple years, I come out to a car that won't start. The battery has been replaced twice, the last about four months ago. three days ago probably gave me the most (albeit unheeded) warning. I got out to the car and all the radio stations were gone from memory, the trip zeroed out, and got no sound from the stereo. Yesterday it wouldn't start (still wont).

So, a few months ago (when the battery was replaced), I sent it to the dealer (don't have a ton of options here in Athens) and let them have the ///M for two weeks. The alternator, starter and battery apparently all tested fine. they went through the car section by section looking for a draw and couldn't find one.

I tried jumping the car this morning with our E70 (engine bay of the E70 to the battery of the E39). I can get dash lights, and clicking but not enough to turn over.

Any thoughts?

Ignition switch?

How were the interior lights and indicators when the radio died?

Bluetooth? That was the problem with my Acura and it was doing just like you have experienced

Interesting. So the Acura's bluetooth was always on? I don't have factory bluetooth, but there is a Dynavin unit in there with bluetooth....

So after a jump, it's back to working. For a couple days she's run fine like nothing was ever wrong.

Until next time?
