Dealing with German Audio Tech is like Clint Eastwood said: Do you feel lucky, do you punk?

First of all, I always believe in giving multiple chances to any business before I smear their name.
Let's just say, I gave plenty of chances to this business.

I've dealt with them twice in past: MID radio repair and recently purchased Sharp LCD for my M5. No issues whatsoever so I thought let's give them more business.

So, I recently sent them an email asking if they'd give me bulk discount if I send in 2 MID radios and 1 E39 instrument cluster for pixel repair. They answered, sure, we'll gladly do it.

I've sent in those and confirmed they got them on particular Monday. They advertise 24-72 hours turnaround so I waited till Thursday and sent them polite message asking for update. No answer.
Waited 24 hours, sent another message on Friday, no answer again.

If I only had MID radios on repair, it wouldn't be a big deal. But here I have dead car I can't move and no update. Also, if you run a business on ebay and you're overwhelmed, there is an option "Out Of Office" so the messages might not be answered right away. So I sent them 3rd message explaining that I'm tired of their ignorance and I'll open PayPal case. Again, waited 24 hours and no answer.

So, on Saturday I opened PayPal case and sent them another polite message explaining that word COMMUNICATION is part of everyday running of a business. it seemed that did a trick as they finally answered to the effect of we were busy, we'll get to you. The message was borderline rude as in how dare you bothering us.

Then, 3 more day pass and another message from me and finally on Wednesday (8 days later than their advertised 72 hours turnaround) they sent back repaired items.

Also, all this time I'm reminding them of promised discount which they basically ignore.

I've also recently check their BBB standing and what a surprise, "F" rating and stories of people waiting much longer than me. if you check some forums, same story mixed in with good reviews as well.

I have feeling I'd be one of those people if I didn't pursue and opened PayPal case.

Everything I said here is verified by email and messages and I will never do business again with these jokers.

I never left before a negative feedback on ebay before but I did this time with pleasure.

Update:

Negative feedback I left is magically gone so now I know how they get way with almost 100% positive feedback. Also, they just sent me an email claiming my instrument cluster had bad gauge motors but they fixed it for free and never mentioned to me because they're good guys.
I responded that I took picture of my cluster prior to sending and everything worked just fine other than dead pixels. I've asked for their proof of "bad motors" and instead of proof, I'm called "Ungrateful schmuck".
I guess truth didn't sit well with them.

Here is the feedback I left:
"Seller ignored multiple messages, late delivery, refused to honor promised discount." Not a single offensive word.
I think the eBay gives option to high volume sellers to remove feedback because it's all about Benjamin.
Also, PayPal case I opened got closed and it states I did it. I'm either loosing my mind or more likely ebay and paypal are similar in this aspect.

Negative feedback for high-volume or power sellers is delayed seven days. Didn't think you could even leave it but I know it doesn't go on record for at least that long. Not sure how it works for services but the seven days starts after the item shows as delivered.

To be fair and as I mentioned, my problem is not quality of their work. The most common pattern with them seems to be excellent communication till the moment they take your money. Then it's like, we'll get to you at some point, don't bother us.
And, of course the lame excuses for being late and plain lying to customer.
If ebay allowed actual negative feedback to be posted, I bet they'd be at 80%.

Thanks! I want to fix pixels on X5 cluster and I'm in Chattanooga, Tn area (2 hours away driving). I wish I knew about them before dealing with the pricks in California.
