M5 vanos or cps?

Hello, i just cleaned out my vanos solinoids, because i had fault codes. I replaced the o rings and tested them, the fault codes lead to bank 2. When i had replaced them and started it, i got the same codes as when i started. 4B Activation, inlet VANOS, bank 2, raterd valve and 71 Fucntion, inlet VNAOS, bank 2. I took the solinoid board out again, and tested them again. All of them worked, put it back in the car. And then i got two more fault codes. 53 Activation, exhaust VANOS, bank 2, advance valve and 72 Function, exhaust VANOS, bank 2. This time the car started to miss fire and stall. Could it be a camshaft sensor that triggers these faults? Since i have cleaned and tested the solinoids and no codes cleared?

Not likely CPS causing that but unless you know for a fact that the CPS are the undated version.... you are playing with gasoline. We don't really know what errors old original style CPS can cause.
What you need to do at this point is switch the boards side for side and see what codes you get.
You would be surprised how many first timers who have not soldered and think that they don't really need a compressor, have had to repeat this process many times to do it right. It could be a wiring issue though, never seen it on bank two but it has hit bank one several times. The wire bundle is the same on bank 2 so no reason it could not happen there also, has to do with the ground bundle. The codes will tell the story with the switch.

I think the CPS is old, but I haven't owned the car more than 4000 km, so I cant be so sure. But i will change the bank 2 packs over to bank 1 and see if the fail follows. I have changed to o rings and cleaned them with electrical circuit cleaner, but I did not solder them because they all worked. However I will try and do it this time, to be sure.
