Throttle body gaskets have a film of oil

So my M5 has been stalling at stops and giving me rich and sometimes lean codes. The MAF’s are 2 years old (bought new ones yesterday) but last night I pulled the plenum to check all of my vacuum lines (which were recently replaced and fine) and I noticed the throttle body gaskets had a film of oil on them. The plenum didn’t have any oil in it but I cleaned off the gaskets and now the car runs completely fine so I’m thinking the oil compromised the gaskets. Why would there be a slick of oil on those gaskets?

My bad, I somehow missed where you said that there was no oil inside the plenum. Disregard.
