Exclamation 18x9.5" ET22 front wheel fitment with PSS9 coilovers

I'm picking up my 3rd E39 M5 on Friday! I'm considering changing the wheel set up to 18x9.5 ET22 wheels on the front and rear of the car. Unfortunately the car has Bilstein PSS9 coilovers installed which severely limits my options for wheels that would fit without sticking out past the fenders to clear the springs

I searched M5Board to try to get clarification on what size spacers are necessary to ensure a proper wheel fitment without rubbing on fenders and springs but I haven't found enough info to be 100% confident that my choice of wheel size would fit.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to fit 18x9.5 ET22 wheels on the front of my car? What size spacers do I need? Will I have issues rubbing? Would I need to try a slightly narrower tire like 265s as opposed to 275s?

Thanks

Hey there and congrats. You will need to run a 12mm or 15mm spacer depending on your ride height. I was able to get away with a 12mm spacer (and longer bolts) without issue. I run 275 Michelin PS4 which run wider than my old PSS. Only rub on full lock. Here is my ride height
