Question for people with Helix (DJ AUTO) lenses

I'm about to open my headlights and upgrade to Morimoto projectors and clear corner Helix lenses.
I've read some posts where people claim Helix pits and clouds faster than Hella. Anybody noticed that?
I'm aware that I can put clear film but not sure how it affects light output if any.
Thank you in advance.

Yes they can since at the end of the day they are replica lenses. How fast depends where you live and how long the car is exposed to UV radiation.

Clear bra does fix this however, I've used Xpel for 4+ years on my DJ Auto lenses and have not noticed any adverse affect on light output and my lenses still look spot on :)

Thank you. I know you have quite a experience with the lenses.

All of my research point out that they're the best aftermarket lens but not quite as good as Hella.
Hella will of course yellow and pit over time too but it does seem to be of better quality over all and with proper anti scratch coating applied in factory. Not sure about DJAuto.
Some good info here: https://www.hella.com/techworld/us/Technical/Automotive-lighting/Headlights-219/
As few guys pointed out, protective film is way to go and DJAuto will suffice when protected.
Thanks.
