I wish this was closer to me

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/6820830631.html

I always wanted a Touring for a daily and Alpine White is my favorite.
I contacted the seller but he either thinks I'm a scammer or he just doesn't want to bother with out of state buyer.
I've looked at one locally with black interior on Alpine White and it was awesome combination.
Unfortunately, young kid tricked it out with some cheap *** coil overs and put aftermaket front M Bumper which fits horribly.
Back to this one, I ran Carfax and it's pretty much 1 owner California car with bunch of records.
Man, I want this thing.

Hmm, I'm going to San Diego in a few weeks . . .

Nah, it's the same reason why I'm not pursuing an E31 or a 944 etc. Just don't have the time or space.

If only it was a MT. Still a nice find though.

P.S. So the seller is the original owner?

Nice kid but these pictures are way better looking than actual car in person. On the plus side, M sport steering wheel is mint and i like the black trim pieces vs the original white.

That's where it gets weird. According to Carfax, he's owned it since February 1st, less than a month.
When I asked about that, he said he bought it of family member. My guess is he's either bough it to flip it or inherited it.
Carfax is full of service records though.
I obviously prefer manual as well but myu wife has to be able to drive if need arises and she's definitely AT only.

Did you see this one in SoCal too? More miles, little older, also an auto, but looks great. I love e39’s in AW too.

Didn't see it and it's nice. The other one is a better deal considering it's younger, less miles, M Sport steering wheel and it's literally one owner with all records and clean Carfax.
