Bemused and modestly annoyed. Your posts are a waste of bandwidth.

Disagree with this. While this thread has admittedly taken an ugly turn, the point is OP is stating his opinion of a particular product relevant to our M5's. To ban him or even delete this thread would be an inappropriate act of censorship. Just let us read the content of the entire thread and decide whether there's any merit to this. Please don't make that decision for us.

I'm not one to defend or support Slimmbones anymore, but this thread was made prematurely.

You titled the thread "junk" even before getting a response from them to fix your issue. Unfortunately this stupid forum doesn't let you edit posts or titles after 24hrs. So even if he were to help you, this title would stick unless an moderator manually changes it, and that's rare.

Slimmbones is not a vendor on here, never has been, so nobody is gaining anything by defending him; but you're supposed to give sellers a chance before smearing them online.

You're right that the lip should have had pre-drilled holes and hardware (1/4" plastic expansion clips) included. But wrong in that the M5 bumper has the same holes. You have to line up the lip and drill through the holes and into the bumper. Then use the clips to secure.

Problem is that most people won't bother reading past a few posts and especially not 7 pages. They'll see the title, pictures and then look elsewhere. They won't see that the whole problem was taken care of via a return and refund.

If it were an honest unbiased opinion, I would agree. But any objective review of this thread IMHO demonstrates an ulterior motive and undercuts the integrity and usefulness of his opinion. Further corroboration comes from the fact that this guy has been banned for the same nonsense on forum after forum and posted with the title that he did before even giving the vendor a chance to respond.

PS: All the "boy" and "homeboy" nonsense is also gratuitous and rude.

Yeah I hear you. I'm surprised this thread has reached 7 pages but at the same time, I'm not that surprised. Still, there's some useful (and entertaining) content here, which I appreciate.

Not yet. Still haven't gotten my money back or a return label as promised.

If you have nothing *new* to add -- don't. I've got a game to watch and will check back later.
