I am stuck at 42K, need more free time. After way too many hrs detailing the fear of dust and dirt kicks in....

New to the club at 117,500 only driven the car 75 miles since I purchased it on 12/29
Been at the indy shop getting a few things repaired. SRS airbag light, trans fluid/diff and service engine soon replacing the maf. Hoping to get her back soon. Not a daily driver for me hoping by Spring time we can really blast around.

132K miles on my beast. 02 purchased with 61K in 2012 and daily driven until 2016. Will be a DD again when I return my F80 M3 lease car and I can’t wait. Haven’t opened the engine but have replaced thermostat, thrust arms, shocks, plugs, fuel pump, and a few exhaust related pieces. Plant to do to get ready for daily driving again, but mostly cosmetic stuff and anything rubber under the hood.

Carbon Black E39- 132K
White F80 M3- 32K
I'd change my username if I knew how...

214K on my S2, bought with ~70K miles on it in 2006. DD for 13 years. Sees the track 6-8 times / year still.
177K on the beater M5 that I picked up for $600 in April 2017. Only put ~1K on it since bringing it back to life a couple of months ago.

just over 120k on mine right now, bought it with 112k April of 2018. I hate putting miles on it but at the same time, I can't stop putting miles on it.

I need to do a write up on it some time. Kind of an interesting story, it turns out it was one owner from new and has a clean title as well (without any title washing chicanery)

I believe I am the 3rd owner. Purchased in 2012 with 87,--- miles, I'm now at 149,--- miles. It only gets around 4-5k/year. Clutch is the only major repair along with typical PM. I don't ever plan to sell it. It's by no means a show car but still turns heads and hauls the mail.

I have the same Beast at 167K but struggling to find replacement Caramel seats! Badly need a driver's side!

2001 Carbon Black purchased in 2016 with 40k now have 44.5 k. Car has clear bra and was CQ Quartz coated. I had all fluid changes, power steering hoses, rear control arms after purchasing and driving about 2500 miles. Since then had mirror replaced by Radar Mirror, new exterior passenger mirror glass, new battery, oil changes, another brake fluid flush, spark plugs, fuel filter, thrust bearing bushings (still good but showed signs of cracking) and rear sway bar brackets. Cosmetically replaced my scratched Titan console plate with new BMW and new BMW shifter/knob leather. Last week did cabin filters/wipers and had new Michelin PSS 4S installed with alignment and this week Dinan rear sway bar going on thanks to advice from board members. It will be delivered Tuesday. Oh and ordered a headrest from EBay cause I want to attach a GoPro to my passenger headrest posts and didn’t want mess up my original (Clemster out why didn’t get response to PM and E39 Source only had full seat).

Living in Chicago I noted the prior posting about hazards with running UHP tires below 60 degrees with traction off. I store my car winters but will get a cheap set of wheels with PS A/S 3+ for shoulder season and storage.
