Question Can broken cam sensor make lambda sensor before kat to show wrong values??

Few days ago my car start to run badly on idle and loss power when rev over 3000rpm.
I go to the service and it shows some errors on cam sensor and error too on one lambda sensor before kat.
Here service guys are amateurs and cannot say anything that can that cam sensor make the whole problem to the engine and make the lambda sensor show wrong values.
I then thinking that if cam sensor is broken and that bank cylinders missfires and etc. its possible that there goes wrong count of air to the exhaust and then lambda sensor shows wrong.
Is that possible??
