Sorry for not keeping this updated. It has been crazy with all the driving and everything going on in between. We took longer than expected at the dealer which gave us a late start. We have hit DC, Baltimore, Jersey, Times Square, Niagara Falls (Border patrol was a mess having a recently purchased car), and currently leaving Cleveland and heading to Chicago. We have 12 hours to go yet. If anyone sees us on the highway give us a honk! So far, we saw one E39 M5 in Jersey and I don't think he saw us. We were going a good 90 MPH though. Will post pics when I get a chance!

M-Guy, just saw this thread. I am the former owner of your M5 (we talked just after you bought the car and before you picked it up). Hope your drive went well. Glad people gave you some solid recommendations on getting out of NC. Skyline Driver is beautiful, and if you're ever down this way you should not miss the Tail of The Dragon. Glad to see my Beast went to an M5 enthusiast. Take care of her. I miss her already!

No worries, she's in good hands. 3k miles on it since I picked it up. Honestly, of all the places we went to along the way, Concord/Charlotte was surprisingly my favorite. Smooth roads, nice weather, nice cars, etc. The whole journey was a blast although an extra day would have made it more enjoyable. Maybe I'll buy another vehicle from Ryan in the near future and take some more time off for another road trip.

Not sure if you'll get a notification on this, but did you ever get back into an E39 M5? I can't remember how I got your number when I purchased the car and have since lost your contact number.
