A just-in-time delivery of a solution to a new head-scratcher. I'm giving my girl her fourth life, replacing all the shiny parts, feeding her her biannual pair of MAF Tasty Treats, and a dozen other high-priority things, but the cracking rubber insulation pieces, gaskets, and seals all around have been driving me nuts. I've been saving the firewall-cabin box area for last because it always annoys me - unfortunately I don't have either the arms of an eight year old girl or, usually, the patience to let the engine cool. Thanks for making it easy(-ier), particularly the part links - I love not having to spend an hour finding, confirming, and reconfirming part numbers and then feeling like I threw the dice anyway.

The Hauler: 2004 Dodge RAM SRT-10, ~32000 miles, bought in 7/08 with 20000
The Next (Garage Queen): A GT car... 1996 BMW 850CSi, 2006 Maserati GranSport, and/or 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello top the list
The Next (Toy Car): 1973 BMW 2002tii

Great write up! Have been thinking about dong this one myself too. I'm pretty sure the ones on mine will turn to dust soon as they did on my 540i when got over ~11 years old and being in Texas heat.
