Let me get the ball rollin'

Spent over two hours on my knees with my toothbrush cleaning my front seats, armrests & headrests.
My microfiber towel measures 24" x 40"

Painted roof rack access doors that had clear coat peeling off. Now might need to paint the rest of the roof channel trim as it is a bit more faded than I realized.
Also had broken and missing trim retaining clips. A quick run to the junkyard and was able to scavenge a bunch from a e39 540, and now have a handful of spares!
Took the opportunity to clean out roof trim channels whilst trim was off.

Just got her home after about two months of work. Sheese. Long story but quick pics :) Got the summer wheels on it. Brakes re-done in cosmos black.

And a nice new cluster from BlackNight! :) Love the amber LED's:

Can't get the thing to synch up and get rid of the tamper dot; but I'm on it! Also replaced a LOT of stuff. Did the DIY auto-headlight upgrade (it's an 00), new Hella Clear headlights with blacked our turn signals, all new rubber pretty much everywhere, rogue underdrive pulleys (I had them laying around and I needed new belts anyway - so why not?), new PS pump/hoses/reservoir, lots of new fuel parts.

Up on deck; new Walbro 255 fuel pump, aluminum under body skid panel, new pork chops, front and rear bumper, all door and window seals, and a paint job. Hopefully by end of summer. Just in time to stick in the garage because it's snowing :(

Still working on the clutch replacement. So far got the exhaust off, the heat shields, and center support. Working on getting guibo bolts out. I had to stop cause I don't have a 21mm wrench and the adjustable keeps slipping off.
Once the clutch/rear main/short shifter is done, it'll be lower oil pan gasket/oil pump chain tensioner, then cps, vanos accumulator retrofit, vanos noid o rings, breather hoses, evap valve.
I have boxes and boxes of maintenance parts....

Finally got the guibo bolts out and the tranny down. Took the clutch and flywheel off. The rear main was leaking pretty badly. Replaced rear main cover /w seal, put the new flywheel and clutch on, pulled out the old shifter and working on replacing with e60 shifter. Stuck on replacing the bushings on the shifter selecort thingies. After that, it'll be the clutch slave, and the rubber line, hose down the tranny and replace the rest of the small bits.
I also discovered both valve covers are leaking. I guess that's next while I'm doing spark plugs, vanos accumulator, evap valve and oil separator lines. Of course I forgot I still have to do the oil pump tensioner.

Started on the "List".
Replaced failed Oil temp/level sensor.
Replaced failing driver's door lift mechanism.
New windshield wiper inserts.

Still have a ways to go.

It's got 100k miles.
All this maintenance started with a couple of small things and snowballed.
Initially I was getting random codes for evap valve. I also get nasty rattle at startup.
Once I started reading about what it takes to do the evap valve I realized might as well do as much as I can of the while I am at it:
Oil separator hoses
Spark plugs
Vanos accumulator
Thermostat
While I had ordered the parts, the clutch started slipping. Same story, while I'm at it:
Clutch/flywheel and almost every possible thing related
CPS
Once I took the tranny down I saw that both valve covers are leaking. I also realized that the lower oil pan Is leaking around sensors.
And so on and so on. I hope to be done before summer starts.
I already did some cosmetic stuff, 16:9 screen, piano black trim, pixels. I also did brakes, new battery and new tires. I'm sure I've forgotten something.

Not an M5 but:

Last Friday I got scrapped by my girlfriends dad:

So I finally decided to fix some issues in my car.
I fixed the driver's seat control panel bezel that was broken (not pictured)

I wrapped my A Pillars in leather

Fixed the wobble in the e38 armrest that I had installed (not pictured)
Oh, and I FINALLY installed the full leather dash set that I've been having since 2015!

Spark plugs, cleaned MAF. Passenger side valve covers are leaking. Not a ton, but will need to be addressed sooner or later. Oil in the spark plug wells. Does seem to drive a bit better afterwards, but I swear half of it's mental.
Anyone know what the gizmo circuit board is? It was connected to a bunch of LEDs in my drivers side tail light. About 10 in one spot (red/green/black wires), and another two in another (the speaker wire - shaking my head). It wasn't connected - I *think* it's laser / radar stuff, as the car is wired with a K1000 system (which is not currently working, since it's wired into the rear view that I replaced... big PITA to fix that glass).

Last one is the interior. Black / grey alcantara.

I used an autologic and here are the screenshots step-by-step:

The DSC, Brake, ABS light will be on after coding. You need to power cycle the vehicle and they should go away. Or start driving the vehicle and they should go away.

Order Thermostat and dozen o-rings to attempt t-stat replacement. Current thermostat isn't getting up to temp, poor mpg (around 15 avg), etc
