Center support bearing replaced now I'm getting a ticking noise from the center console!

So I had an indy change out my center support bearing and now I'm getting a ticking noise that sounds like it's coming from underneath the center console or shifter area. What do you guys think could be causing this?

It has something to do with the drive line for sure because it increases/decreases with the speed of the car, or as the drive shaft or wheels rotate. Kind of sounds like when we use to put a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle.

Is it constant, changes with speed, always there, etc.?

If you want me to take a listen to it, let me know.

Yes, it definitely changes with speed, meeting up to try and diagnose where it's coming from would be great, I'm busy for most of the weekend but since we're in the same town during the week any evening is good for me. Email me your name and number and I'll get in touch with you soon. Thanks so much for offering to help me with this!

It depends on the day and where you are located. Call me or send me a text and we will figure it out.

i think i have the same issue too

i got this annoying tick tick sound coming from the center console or shifter area.

it get progressively louder as the vehicle goes faster. I opt out the it's the engine making the sound, as i tried to shut off the engine while the car is moving, "don't attempt this it's not safe at where you are", the tick tick sound is still there. The sound disappear when the car stops at a traffic light, and picks up again when it accelerate.

anyone can give me some input on what and where are the cause of this. thank you guys

Bumping this thread to see if anyone figured this noise out.

I have the same sound, hard to tell exactly where in the console it is coming from, just started the last week or so. Not related to the HVAC, clutch in/out does not affect it, speed dependent, and only happens occasionally.
