They only do one spring rate, and that is 6kg front and 5kg rear, although there is an option of the BR series or the RM series, which are an inverted coilover.

????

All I am saying is I KNOW I have 8k 6k springs on my car, which are the BR series. IF you want to match the set up, you can get it.......

I am going to adjust my passenger side down 1/2" tonight. I can take some measurements again and post them up with some pics.....

if anyone is looking to purchase these i say go ahead. i'm happy with mine and the money saved. i'd like to ride in a car that has the 6/5 rates now as i kind of wish the ride was softer again. these aren't stiff by any means but it's not cush like stock.

also i have a contact where i got mine from for a good price. shoot me a PM if interested.

Hey Timmay and anyone who has just installled these,

I just got my bc coilovers fitted and there is now a good amount of shimmy in the steering wheel around 40-50 mph. I havent gotten it aligned yet as I want it to settle a little bit first. Did any of you guys experience this vibration in the steering before alignment? If not what could cause it?

Thanks

Mark

Mark-

Did the car have these symptoms prior to suspension install?

If not, how low is the car dropped now? Any change to the characteristics of the suspension system will throw off all the alignment numbers, and could be a cause for your vibration. A good shimmy at those speeds would indicate an alignment is indeed due.

This is strictly preference. You could leave it as-is from BC factory, or you could adjust it to preference. The great thing about coilovers is, you adjust it to the way YOU like it.

M55555,

It did not have these symptoms prior to putting the coilovers on.

The height is 1 inch lower in the rear and 1.5 inches lower in the front. Low but not slammed

Fleebob,

When I ordered mine there was a choice of spring rates, though not advertised on any of the sites.

Like said I'm running the lower rates and hammer the car on these lovely British roads of ours! The car is really good, no crashing and turn in is much better.
Currently running, 20 clicks from soft front and rear. Front camber at 1.5 deg, rear at 1.5 deg and all toe set at 0 deg. It is transformed from what it was with the front camber adjusted.

I had slight shimmy before the alignment. All sorted after.
