Look at posts #3 and #16 for my comments on wheel clearance.

On another note, with your drive around the block, how did you initially find your settings?
I live in a new subdivision, which means very smooth roads, and was only traveling at about 10 mph. There really is no way I can make any kind of judgment. Sorry.

i removed the 2 nuts to the side instead of the that one and it works fine.

also I'm an idiot and forgot the headlight sensor is on the passenger side. and when I pushed downwards on the knuckle i snapped the plastic. for now it is just ziptied together. hopefully it holds together.

and can I just say...holy hell getting the rear shelf out was a huge PITA. took me quite a while to figure out how to get basically the entire rear interior out.

David, you'll be glad to know you aren't the only unfortunate who snapped the headlight adjuster! For the rear parcel shelf, I feel for you. There is a video on YouTube of some guy installing stereo speakers in an e39 and I watched that a few times first - piece of cake after that.

yea, i saw that video on youtube also but i have fold down seats and the rear sunshade. so there were some steps missing. I ended up finding a post on here with some good detail regarding how to remove the remaining pieces needed.

I don't even want to know how much it is to replace that adjuster.

Drove the car around the block today a few times. Love the ride. May be a little low, just a bit "ghetto" but I like it for now. I am HOPEFULLY taking it Tuesday to get an alignment done. As long as there isn't standing snow on the ground, I will make the trip. We will see if the BC's cured my alignment issue I had. I can't imagine I will still have a problem with the front adjustable plates.

Too low? IDK, it seems so......

Drove it around a bit, pretty stiff, but I like it. need to crawl under it and find out if I am rubbing with the 3mm spacers, see if my tape is still there. I didn't drive it hard at all, not until I get my alignment, but just to see if I am rubbing yet.
