Auto dimming mirror not working!?!?!?

Just noticed my interior auto dimming mirror is not working.

On my old 528 it used to go green/dark green depending on the lights.

Tonight I had an idiot behind me with full beam lights and it refused to work.

Any ideas, can't seem to find anything on the forums?

Glass is perfect btw.

Thanks

My guess would be its busted. Somewhat common issue, the gas inside leaks out and the thing stops working... Some show it very much (big miscolored oval in the middle) some dont...
There is a thread on here that explains how to contact company and get it replaced... Since your in the UK, no idea how that process changes though..
Costs something like $100 to get it swapped out... Still on my to do list personally..

I've never noticed if mine works or not to be honest.

Search for Magna Donnelly...

Huge threads on the subject of mirror. It's a design fault. I got mine replaced free of charge but some folks have had problems getting them replaced..
