yeah i wouldn't go that far either. Why? Business, family, life.

Monterey week is my big car thing, and it works for me because i can leave the family members (who don't want to do every car event) at the beach, and it's a 'real' vacation for everyone. For this year, with monterey week and bmwcca's oktoberfest the week after, i'll pick and choose what i get to, because it's not realistic to do 2 weeks of car stuff.

Yeah hard to take that big a chunk of time out, work gets busy around that time of year.

I've brought my car down to Monterey for Pebble Beach weekend for two years in a row, great drive and scenery. Valets parked my car in the BMW M4 GTS event at the very front so it got rockstar parking... probably more coincidence than anything, but it looked nice and pretty there.

Understandable about the time off and such. I still will counter this is a once in a life time continental M car owner meet. So getting so many M owners in one event probably won't be done again. Unlike Monterey we are using the cars as intended, seeing different sights, and meeting people on other coasts.

Side note we are looking at the event in 2017 now based on chats on other threads.

Of course no one forces you to go, just want to make sure you have all the info before bowing out.

Sad to see this isn't looking likely for this year. I would be in for NC as I have family there and I went to school in St. Louis and my brother is there so I'd be down to take one hell of a road trip there too. I'll keep checking, I would say maybe grabbing people's email addresses and make a group and send out updates. I know it's a decent amount of work and I give credit to whoever organizes it, I'm willing to help where I can if needed.

It would of been this year but I am just getting traction and feedback on this. The event talks started in 2014 on M3forum.net and just NOWW getting people support. 2017 will be a go and will work out all the details kind as outlined above.

definitely interested and will keep updated on info, I live in Florida but Deals Gap isn't too bad of a drive for me as I have attended Bimmerfest East in NJ and Maryland the last two years
