Redex injector cleaner, any thoughts?

I bought some about a year ago and it's still sitting in the boot, unused, as I'm a bit nervous about using it.

Is it safe to use on M5's? Will the car end up smoking for 500 miles? Anyone used it?

Any advice much appreciated

JR

Whack it in Ratty ......1 bottle to half a tank ........ as long as it's for a petrol engine it can only be beneficial .

p.s. Wynns do some decent injector cleaners .......

Cheers Dave .. I bought it when it was misfiring, but the problem was caused by the 16 yr old HT leads breaking down (suprise surprise lol) Testimony to the quality of genuine parts really.. I bet not many other manufacturers leads last that long.

I'm gonna give the redex bottle to someone with a car that needs it lol....

A few tanks of shell optimax will also give the intake side and injectors a good cleanout......
