S62-Powered e38 - Lemans e39 M5 and Biarritz e38 740i SWB

I've taken on a couple new projects and reality is sinking in, so the s62 6-speed e38 Biarritz build and LS e39 Lemans build have been put on an indefinite hold.

For sale:

1. A 1998 e38 740i short wheel base in Biarritz Blue Metallic of Sand Leather. 85k miles, the paint is a 9.5 out of 10 and the interior is a 9.5 out of 10. Amazing condition for a 21 year old car. I'm partial to the M62B44 and wanted it for another project, so I limited my search to 96-98s. It sits on M-Parallels with good Michelins. Have the original wheels. Mechanically very good.

2. A 2000 e39 M5 in Lemans over Lemans/Black Sport Interior. Upgraded Hella xenon headlights, tail lights and NAV, paint and panels are original but showing their age. Interior is as well. Hard-wired K40. Its a solid driver but definitely not a garage queen. New Bridgestone tires, rims are true but need refinishing. Recently got a great deal on this and willing to pass it on.

Will sell as a package or separately to the first reasonable offer(s). Titles in hand. PM me for any additional details.

Good looking pair! So to confirm, the E38 has a S62 motor in it? Who did the transplant? Or was that the project that didn't happen?

Engine bay photos would have cleared that up - started raining almost as soon as I got them lined up.

The e38 still has its m62 in it, the plan was to swap out the s62 and Getrag that are currently in the Lemans.

Lemans sold for ~$7k earlier today - less than 6k miles per year, very well maintained, great driver, but not a collector car.
