E39 M5 for sale - blk on blk/grey- m/y:2000

Selling my baby with 85k miles. Had a full check up with appraisal at a local shop last fall, preparing for selling her this spring.

I've loved this car, but I don't need two summer cars, and my 1988 M3 needs a paint job.

My M5 had black paint with black interior with grey inserts. She's in near perfect condition, and has always been stored every winter.

I'm located in SE Wisconsin. Serious inquiries only at [email protected]. I have a bunch of photos; I'll try to post some here.

I should mention, I'm also selling an e39 540i. It's almost exactly like the M5, except it doesn't have grey leather seat inserts, and it has wood trim on the door panels and dash inserts. The 540i has the 6-speed manual trans with a short-shift kit. I have also replaced the wheels with M5 wheels, but it's a base 540i.

This car hasn't been stored in the winter, but I'm quite protective and wash often during snowy, salty seasons. This one has about 125k on the odometer, but the engine was replaced about 50k miles ago, after mistakenly down shifting, and floating the valves. It was R&Red by a shop and runs great. Due o the short shift kit, it's a little tight shifting lower gears while cold, but it's never been difficult to shift, just much tighter than my M5.

If you're interested in a lower cost alternative, I'll sell this one for $6250.
