The 2nd owner bought the car from Hendrick Motors in North Carolina in 2006 with 24k miles. The third owner purchased it in Sept of 2015 with 118k miles when the owner purchased a new M3 and decided to sell. I bought the car in July of 2016 when the third owner decided that he couldnt drive the car often enough to justify keeping it. It had 119,000 miles then. It has been my daily driver since, but it stands at 131.7k miles.
The car has been well cared for throughout its history. The 2nd owner (an M5 enthusiast) put an extensive number of mods into the car but all are very tastefully done.
The Carbon Black paint is in great condition. It's a beautiful color if you haven't seen it in person. Depending on the angle and lighting it can look either black or a deep midnight blue. Windows all around are tinted 35% except the front windshield.
The car has had a couple of mishaps. In the fall of 2016, another car backed into the drivers side front door, denting the door. Before that was repaired, another driver slow speed rear-ended me at a yield sign. The irony here is that it was a flatbed trailer delivering another car to a body shop. The door was fixed and painted. The trunk lid and rear bumper were replaced. Both were repainted, as well as the hood and front bumper, which has some rock chips. Last fall, a tree fell on the passenger rear corner and taillight. There was a minor indentation which was fixed and repainted. The tail light was replaced with a new one. All new parts are genuine BMW.
The interior has been maintained very well and it's in excellent shape. 2nd owner removed the dark wood trim and had another set painted carbon black. The painted trim gives it a more updated and modern appearance and give the car a black and caramel two-tone appearance. The. 2nd owner replaced the shift knob with an illuminated ZHP shift knob along with a black leather boot. The navigation map DVD's were updated to 2007. It's also been hardwired for a Valentine One radar detector. The 2nd owner installed illuminated M5 front door sills as well as LED blue foot-well lights providing a very neat look at night. The black rubber foot pedals were also replaced with Titanium Cavallino Pedals. Additional items below:

Full Disclosure Items
Passenger side mirror folding mechanism not working. The power mirror mechanism works fine its the folding that doesnt work. The motor is working, but the gears seem stripped. I bought the car this way, and never got around to replacing it.
The radio is on the fritz. The head unit seems fine, but the radio sometimes doesnt work. Im sure theres something thats lose.
The rear struts squeak. The Bilstein rear struts seem to have developed a squeak. Probably an easy fix.
The passenger front seat has the twist issue. I had the front drivers seat repaired for $150, so its not a big deal.
The instrument cluster has the missing pixel issue. I believe there is someone in Charlotte who fixes them.
Drivers side seat left bolster is a little faded, but no cracks. Im betting it can be dyed to look match the rest of the leather.
The spare key doesnt work electronically.
The car is very, very solid, and has been meticulously taken of by myself and the previous owners. The issues above are minor, and had it not been for the freak accidents, Id be listing the car for more money. The maintenance items above are as complete as can be, though I will update them if I find any additional receipts of my own.
Ive had the car repairs done at Bimmer Specialists in Greenville, Euro-Sports in Spartanburg, and Century BMW in Greenville.
The tires were purchased brand new from Discount Tire, and were purchased with a tire warranty, which I believe is transferable to a new owner with a fee.
