Decent M5 in Texas

Hey M5 Enthusiasts,

Always loved this car and have been saving for years. After car troubles, finally looking to pull the trigger.

Looking for a E39 M5:
Years: 2001-2003
Mileage: +/- 100-150k miles
Color: Any
Location: Texas, preferably DFW Area.
>$20,000 as I am a broke college student.

Appreciate any help looking for my dream car!

Hey man - good luck in your search. There are some great examples out there in that price range. A bit of caution however, my buddy likes to say that these were 120k cars and they still cost that much if you buy all the parts This is not something that someone without a lot of discretionary income can keep running as a daily. At least that's been my experience. I'm sure others would disagree. Of course, it gets easier if you do all your own work. But parts are still hard to find, and demand a premium.

Yeah, that's why I'm cautious. Looking for something decently priced so I still have fund for maintenance. I feel comfortable performing all maintenance on these. Parts still are expensive though that's for sure.

Good afternoon.

I have a 2000 M5 with 148,600 miles in Midlothian.

This is my Craigslist post with more detailed information: https://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/ct...871992256.html
