2007 M5 e60 (6 speed manual) 79k miles

Here are my photos below. The car is at my parents house on the east coast it hasnt really been driven for 2 years now my dad takes it to get an oil change for me once a year and a check up with the mechanic. The car is driven around town about once a month. My parents are older so the car just stays in the garage and probably has only gained 200 miles of use over the last 2 years.

The car has some mods the wheels are something special i had them powerdecoated I chose the goldish bronze color due to how easy it is to match that color to anything and for some reason this color has become more and more popular over the years.

The halos are blue you can run them all day as day time running lights.

modified exhaust its not loud just loud enough to hear it with the windows down and quite with the windows up.

Suspension and steering rack fully replaced same goes for steering column. The steering column and rack were done by Century BMW in Greenville SC The suspension was rebuilt by me i used an upgraded coilover with adjustable height in stead of the oem bilstein struts. The oem struts are great but they are over priced the EDC button is a foolish add on in this car and lets be real if you are riding around on 10 year old struts believe me that button does absolutely nothing for you car. The new coilovers are fully adjustable on the top. Right now they are set to the firmest setting but super easy to adjust. All the thrust arms and steering knuckles are replaced sway bars and end links all bushings everything suspension related is new.

Had about 20k worth of work done 2 years ago.

both throttle body actuators have been replaced, same goes for the steering column lock.

Issues. . .

I drove the car a few months ago when i visited my folks starts right up and moves just fine, I drove it for maybe one full tank of gas without issues. I would recommend if you buy this to replace the sparkplugs and coil packs just like any sports car that sits those are the items that go bad when you dont use them.
I did not notice any leaks from the car, although since its not being used i am curious on how the RMS is holding up, if you have ever worked on a car then you should know that the RMS will go out on any and all cars regardless if they are used or not. If its leaking its roughly a 300 dollar repair. should take you about 4 hours tops, or if you wan the car shipped to the west coast im in sandiego and can replace it myself or conduct any repair that is needed.

Also if you buy the car im not just going to leave you hanging i have a passion for these vehicles my wife daily drives her m6 and its just a blast to take care of the car, If you feel like there is an issue with it and you dont wanna fool around with the dealer you can get in touch with me and il help you find a solution. ( i have full dealer capabilities for programming the car and diagnostics)

aside from that, tires have full tread Michelin Pilot Super Sport. and i cant think of anything else to add at this time if you are interested please get in touch with me either here or by contacting me via text.

Honestly I dont have an asking price man. I do not need the money nor do i need the car i just want to free some garage space up for my folks otherwise i was going to ask the BMW factory to store it in a show room in spartanburg. So just taking any and all offers not really looking at trades unless its a boat.

Do 2007's have the upgraded tailights?

What about the rod bearings / vanos? Have there been any replacements, etc?

Thanks,

Thanks,
So i have not done the rod bearings due to it not being a concern. The people you see here complaining about its they are about the 1.8% of m5 owners. Not saying its not an issue just saying people only complain and post stuff when bad stuff happens to them. . . Vanos has no issues the 2007 system is upgraded from the 06 and is trouble free, has new throttle actuators not gunan lie those crapped out in this thing. I have a whole maintenance book for it too much to list long story short it has had about 20k worth of work roughly 2 years ago brand new suspension stiff as a rock, this car is not for everyone more of a sports car than gentleman's car at this point. Id buy this for my teenage son if i had one otherwise stay away from it, its kind of boring has too many airbags and stupid seat warmers and coolers. This is why the germans keep loosing to the italians

For the LCI the facelift was that 08 09 time frame but 05 06 were models of their own we didn't even get the 05 here. The 2006 was a one year run here and a class action suit starterd my father was a part of it, but the 2007 ratified the situation so to speak plus the complaints for the vanos system were still under 5% therefore no recall necessary nothing to worrry about. You know most people who worry about rod bearings though in the m5 m6 and m3 of this erra are the same people who think a ferrari 360 motor should be pulled every 5k -8k miles for servicing lol. Ignorance is a bliss. my wife is still rolling around in a bmw v10 and guess what i wont replace those rod bearings till about 120k miles.

Those rod bearings are going to go regardless. Use redline 5-50 in your engines and you should be fine. Post your BADvin report here and lets see what it has. Before you even buy an M5, you need to have a computer to work on them. Just a totally different all game.
