2003 M5 Sterling/Caramel (PA)

Hi All,

I've decided to find my M5 a new home. Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions. Call/Txt at Six 1 O Four Too 7 Thee Thee Thee (that's 3 threes) 6 or email at [email protected]

Details:
March 2003 build E39 M5
VIN: WBSDE93453CF93178
Sterling Gray over Caramel Complete Leather
M-Audio
Heated Seats
Rear Airbags

3rd owner. First owner had it ~55,000 miles in Manhattan. 2nd owner only had it ~5,000 miles in New York State (he was a corvette guy, it didn't fit him). I've had it since the fall of 2009, when I got it with ~60,000 miles. I've meticulously maintained it at a BMW CCA independent mechanic and welcome any PPIs, or reference checks. I can produce a good majority of my work records, but I don't keep a binder.
115,2XX miles, no known issues. All pixels are good, no strange vanos noises, no check engine light, clutch is good, some side bolster wear shown in the pictures. No modifications except adding the Aux-In port. All maintenance parts replaced with OEM. It has been my daily driver except in snow, since I've had it and has been extremely reliable. Never been in an accident, never tracked.

I'm asking $18,500.

I'm not in a rush to sell (I just bought its replacement, an '11 335 M-Sport), but want to move it to a new home because my oldest daughter will be getting her license in a few months and its time to get something more practical (she wouldn't be driving it but insurance, upcoming colleges, etc. just doesn't make it logical anymore). No trade offers, low balls or potential Nigerian bank account transfers please.

Since pictures tell the story a lot better than my rambles, here it is (pic taken this morning):
there are 50+ more of every detail I could think of here:

bump for a good seller. whoever buys this car will be very happy. Unfortunately, I cannot at this time since I have to sell my GTI first, otherwise it would be parked outside of my house right now.

Josh,
Does your cigarette lighter not close, or is left open for convenience? When I bought mine, it would not latch closed. If this is the case it is about a 10 minute fix. The pin that allows the door to latch closed comes out of its track. Just pop it back in its track and fixed.

Anyway, that is a very nice ride and good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the compliments, the car has had a lot of interest. AGM5, the cigarette lighter does close, I use it for my passport, so it was open for the pictures (I should have at least put the lighter back in). The cup holders even work (I'm afraid to use them).

I have a deal in principle lined up with a fellow board member, so I think it will be going to a good home. I'll post confirmation when it is sold.

Wish I was ready to buy right now... fell in love with Sterling Gray last night - definitely my favorite shade of gray on these cars and I lust after that caramel interior. Gorgeous combination. Glad to hear its at least going to a good home!

What a deal! If it falls through for any reason let me know. I shouldnt buy right now but that doesnt mean I wont...

Sold yesterday to a fellow board member. Thank you to everyone who showed interest. I hope it treats the new owner as well as it did me. I'll miss feeling special when I drove it.
