Need help info on e60 M5 Calgary/BC

Was wondering if anyone happens to know of or is familiar with a particular M5 I was looking into purchasing.
It is an Alpine White 2007 M5 with approx. 67000km , red interior , not sure what other mods are . It had some brand aftermarket exhaust , lowered , had black deep dish rims , blacked out grill and side emblems , carbon fibre rear spoiler lip . Was on kijiji a couple of times in past few months but has now been taken off.

The reason I am asking is that there are some discrepancies that come up when dealing with the individual that has the car for sale.
He told me that the car was in a minor accident , was hit on driver side door and airbags went off. It had a salvage title but now has a rebuilt title.
The airbag light and seatbelt lights remain on currently. I thought that in order to have a vehicle passed and titled as rebuilt status , that the airbag light can no longer be on?

The owner said the estimated damage was $7000. How is it possible to have had a salvage title with only that little of a damage value? The owner told me it was due to the fact that the airbag(s) were deployed and has to be considered a salvage title at that point , regardless of repair $$$$

Just seems to be more to the story here and was hoping someone in the Calgary area might know more about the cars history.
I was told the car was originally a BC car when it was in the accident, passed the provincial inspection there , and also passed the Alberta inspection where it currently resides in Calgary.

I googled to see if I could dig up snippets of the older kijiji ad that was placed for this car , and obviously the ad no longer exists , but in google search it had snippets of what was in the old ad. It stated that it had fender, hood, door, airbag damage but no,frame damage. When I asked the owner about this , he said that the old kijiji ad was for a different car (even though it was for a Apline White 2007 with exactly same mileage as his)

If anyone knows of this car or anyone who has either viewed it/test drove/worked on it etc. , please post or PM me with any information you may have.
I am trying to dig and find out if it is worth pursuing this car.
Thanks for your time.

If he can't give you the proper history and be up front and honest about the damages then you're naturally left thinking something else is up. That, or he legitimately doesn't know and he's BS'ing his way through. In either case he doesn't deserve your money (my opinion). Also you will forever blame him for every questionable rattle.

I didn't get a chance to look at the car but I spoke briefly to the guy selling it the first time and he was more open about it all. Then his friend bought it and of course he's selling it now.

Sorry probably not the feedback you were looking for but if you google it's vin or find out where it was sold after the accident (Carfax), call them up and see if anyone has records on it. Unfortunately you will need to chase all this down if the Seller can't/won't tell you.

I am unable to send private messages until my post count goes up, so,I am apologizing in advance for using this thread as such.

To the above poster , what did the person who had it for sale prior to this current owner / his friend , disclose as to what was all damaged and to what extent? Was there any mention of frame damage and /or anything of major concern?
Did he happen to mention cost of damage done?
Any further information that you got from him that you could share would be greatly appreciated
