I was invited along to Gaydon earlier in the week to have a preview of the new Rapide. We were not allowed to drive the car or even be driven in it, it was purely a look over the car.
Appearance wise IMHO they have pulled it off and it looks far nicer than the Panamera. The configuration is purely 4 seats with the rear seats having a fixed centre console between them. Space is not bad, but I would not fancy a long journey in the rear seats, to be fair I am well over 6', the front adjustment was excellent, something I have found a real compromise in other Aston Martin's. The luggage space is not bad and offers some flexibility, particularly when the rear seats are folded done and the optional protective cover put in place, easily enough space for say a 50" plasma, probably still in its packing......
The price starts at £139k for a well spec. car.
