Alpinas in North America

Not including the E63 B7 and Alpina Roadster, does anyone have a ballpark figure for how many Alpinas are in Canada and the United States?

It only looks mint in the pictures. It still needs much work to be in tip-top shape.

I would have thought it would be more, but on reflection you're probably right. I think there are many we may not know about however. I've heard of a woman in Texas with 6 Alpinas including a B10 Biturbo, and it turns out there is a Bt for sale only about 3 hours from where I live.

Unfortunately, not everyone likes joining forums. We see the same thing in the Canadian RHD import scene. There are so many nice cars that have been imported, but some people just aren't interested. Even if it can be a valuable resource. Just like this site is

Funny I have not heard about the lady in Texas.....interesting non the less.

Kees is right with his numbers but many of these owners have no intention of forum joining or registering for what ever reason. Occasionally you will discover a new undiscovered one from a car show but many choose to keep in hiding.

With Japan import you will see more and this opens up the US/Canadian markets a little - because it is probably the best time to buy while the market is below flat.

Interestingly on Nov 5th and 6th at the Hilton Head Concours de elegance in HH South Carolina, will host as a tiny part of the car show "Tuners cars from the pas". included will be alpina with ruf, hartge etc.... A couple of us will be there with ours and hopefully we will discover a few more alpina cars.
