Dont' just do springs/shocks IMO. I would go with coilovers for the simple fact you can adjust them to any height/damper control/rebound etc...you can do either an EXTREMELY stiff ride with very little rebound or a like stock ride- but with crisper handling. Pricey for what your looking for may it be, but better results- yes.
