I would like to BUY the Differential from a '91-'95 E34 M5 or from a Late 1990's thru 1992 E32 750il. The E34 M5 Differentials are mostly 3.91LS and the E32 750il are most likely 3.64LS in ratio.

BOTH of those differential are compatable with my 1995 8 Series - 840ci. and are to be installed in aforementioned 8 series.

I am located in Los Angeles, CA.

Please email me at: [email protected] with any and all questions and or information.

I am also interested in 17" Throwing Star Wheels from a 850 CSi as well as I am interested in purchasing the 6 speed tranny from a 850CSi or from a 850i.

Many Thanks.

In my experience I have never come across a 3.64lsd in the e32. From everything I have come across, and researched, the 91+ had a 3.64 open, and the 88-89 had a 3.15lsd. I have also had a hard time finding any used 3.91lsd as of late.
I have a 3.64 open for $375 plus shipping if that is of any use to you.

Dan:

Thank you for responding to my post. Have you ever gone to this site?? ->>

http://bmwe31.com

The site is an E31 or 8-series devoted site hosted by the well known 8-Series suspension specialist Greg Kovecses. To simplify things ... He commonly goes by ... GregK.

Once you're at the sites homepage, click on Modifications. Then ... on the lefthand side of the page scroll down to Differential Compatability Issues and click on it. Now being displayed in the main section of the page is Greg's findings over the years as to what is compatible with the 8-Series. If you have a quick look at the last section which is self explanatory ...
"Donors, Purchasing and Shipment."

I do not know how to explain to difference of yours and Greg's experiences.

Anyway ... What car ... year, produciton date, make and model did the open 3.64 diff you have come from?

Do you have any photos that you could email me ... especially of the Rear Bolt pattern? My email address is: [email protected]

Many thanks and I look forward to being in contact with you.
