Oke the oval mirror is after 2000 then:1:

To bad the oval mirror is much nicer than the squar one


Perhaps I can find one on e-bay but what is a elektro chrome model and a model wish haven't got elektro chrome

exept the price ofcourse:hihi:

You may have a replacement mirror already courtesy of the previous owner, as the liquid inside has been known to leak, as it did after a few years on mine. My 11/99 build car has the oval mirror.

My 6/00 car is also oval. When i was looking at m5's a few years ago, i looked at several 00MY cars, all had oval (prod dates between 2/00 and 6/00)

Here in Holland there are plenty of 99 models who have the oval mirrors???

So I have bad luckhiha

I don't think many people change from squar to oval mirrors bacause they cost +-400 euro :sad1:

Actually, 2003 M5 I test drove in Germany also had rectangular mirror, just like yours. I prefer that over the oval as it is a bit too small.

The squar mirror does have a clean view;)
Maybe you can choose it when you order a M5:confused:
