Sportec beat the world record for fastest SUV by doing 308.45 km/h on the Papenburg oval track with their Porsche Cayenne SP600M (700 bhp). The previous world record was held by Kleemann and their MB ML55 which reached ~288 km/h. The SP600M does 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds and 0-200km/h in 14.6 seconds, not bad for a 2.5 ton car.

They actually went faster than this, but I didn't get a photo of the timer.

They also brought this little baby, a Porsche GT2 SP650 (650bhp) capable of doing 350 km/h, which they did several times while we were there.

More photos here http://www.bmwm5.dk/gallery/sportec-atp and you can find Sportec at http://www.sportec.ch/
I have a short video as well of both cars flying by, but no where to host it.

Wow, you were there? Great shots! Where did it take place? Im sure that rear spoiler is functional, but it does not look good...

Yes I was present. It took place at the Automotive Testing grounds in Papenburg (ATP) Germany on March 10th.

The rearspoiler is indeed functional but I have to agree with you that it's not exactly pretty, seen worse though.
