Hope this is not THAT stupid of a question...Winter driving??

Hey whats up, so one of my friends has a M5 of the last generation..he drove it in the winter and he said it was fine. Is there anyway to drive the new M5 in winter conditions?? I dont know if we can fit any smaller rims with the big brakes..and I think 19s would suck in the snow. Any thoughts...thanks in advance!

BMW offers a set of 18" winter wheels and tires

Do a search, pics of them have been posted before

Just use good wintertires, P400 mode and have all the buttons switched ON (M button excluded:p)

I can't possibly imagine it to be any more difficult than an E39 M5 with a good set of snow tires. It's perfectly suitable.

My M5 is my all-purpose vehicle. It cuts through mud, snow, ice, and slow drivers.

as much as how capable the M5 can be in your winter, it also depends on how other drivers fair. hate to see someone bump into a brand new M5.

True. But they look unbelievably crappy.:confused3
And there doesnt seem to be any other option, no winter tires are made in size that would fit M5 standard rims...

I've got them. 245 width front AND rear. Required to dig into snow, instead of skiing on top of it.
