Is the wind deflector on the convertible a useful accessory? Is it easy to put up and remove? Does it have to be removed and stored when the roof is up?
Yes, it makes the drive much nicer. Mine is for sale since I have a car seat in the back. You can have it in the car when the roof is up. It folds down flat.
When taking it out of the car, it folds in half again and goes in a case for storage in the trunk.

that is my old thread on the topic, I actually just took mine out of the closet and put it on the car this morning as this afternoon might be just nice enough for some top down driving
I am sure that it makes a difference but it looks terrible and the idea of taking it off every time I want to use the back seats for some strange reason is annoying. I will wait and see how bothersome the wind really is without or with the windows up.
Absolutely. the rear window does not much. If you have someone in the car and you want to carry on a convo, you will see the major difference it makes. If you're a loner and don't car, its fine. It also helps when its cold out, you can drop the top, keep the windows up and put the heat on.. and roll.. so so MUCH fun.
